Directed and Private Retreats: On a Directed Retreat, the retreatant is led in a prayer experience by a director who meets with the retreatant daily to reflect and discern together the movement of the Spirit. In a Private Retreat, the retreatant spends time in prayer and reflection without the assistance of a director. You are most welcome to make arrangements for either type of retreat at a time of your own choosing.

I enjoy sitting on the covered porch with friends and catching up on all their news. I enjoy our retreat events because they help me grow spiritually and mentally. BTSR is my favorite place to go for a retreat and I have been going there once a year for the past 16 years. I am grateful to be going again this year in September.
The Sisters are wonderful and very helpful. The food is basic and very well prepared. The rooms are single and I like that. Sharing a bathroom has not been a problem in my many years of coming to BTSR.
