Our widely separated facilities offer ample room for solitary experiences.

Explore nature trails winding through old hardwoods and towering pines, walk beside small, trickling streams, sit beside spring-fed reflection pools or in quiet coves where the loudest sound is the caw of a blackbird.  Our 45 acres, surrounded by thousands of acres of old-styled pastures and woodlands, are "the mountains" at their best.

The splendor of the Blue Ridge Mountains – Cedar Mountain, in particular, to the west and the Horseshoe Appalachians to the north – provides a year-round backdrop for respite and renewal.

You'll want to stroll the nature trails, take some quiet time alone in one of the numerous meditation settings, or just gaze at the majestic mountain views. The Center offers a spectacular setting where guests can focus on important inner work.

At the Center for New Beginnings, you will not be "roughing it".  There are no bunk beds in Spartan cabins. All rooms at the Center are comfortably furnished, each with heating and air and clean linens provided. Guests are housed in an eclectic array of ten separate buildings spaced a short distance apart but within easy walking distance, providing maximum privacy and flexibility of use.

Exterior designs vary from cedar-walled cabins (such as Harmony) and octagonal chalets (such as Trahlyta) to duplex lodges (such as Serendipity), to Cedarview, which is a multi-unit mountain lodge.

Jan Walker	5/31/2009		I love going to the Center for New Beginnings to connect with my spirit and restore my soul.  It's a lovely, intimate nature setting tucked away from the busy world.  Delicious, healthy food is important when I'm doing spiritual work and the food there is wonderful!  The director is caring and attentive and the staff is friendly and supportive.  I have always enjoyed my time there.
Shari Claire	5/16/2009		I have been going to the Center for New Beginnings for 7 years and each time I find something else to take my breath away.  The setting is the most amazing in all of the North Georgia Mountains.  The staff is accommodating, nurturing and loving. Big Dog, Scooter and Carrie are always there to greet me with a wag of the tail.  Ann has never met a stranger and I feel part of the Center's family.
