Blessing Retreat is a place of rest, peace and comfort in the scenic Williamson Valley area of Prescott AZ. Here you will experience gorgeous sunsets, serene views of Granite Mountain, peaceful ambience, and often, an exciting glimpse of wildlife. We are one half mile from the Granite Mountain trailhead, and close to several bike trails, horse trails, hiking trails, and places to go rock-climbing. We are also convenient to nearby Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and Gunsite Training Center. For those seeing the Worlds Oldest Rodeo or any of the other wonderful events and places in Prescott, we are just eight miles down the road from the center of town, the charming Courthouse Square. Far enough to feel youre in for some country living, and close enough to make it in good time to dinner reservations, plays, art shows, parades and other events in Prescott.
Blessing Retreat is perfect for individual spiritual retreats, writers' retreats, and small groups up to 10. However, our real focus is that we are a "healing home," a place much like the Christian healing rooms movement, but with a more all-encompassing approach. Guests stay for a full week, focusing on rest and reflection. Prayer teams come to our home to minister in prayer over the guests. Besides praying for healing, we pray that each guest discovers their own personal path to healing through the many choices available. Contact us for more information about this special way to find your path to healing.

| Rachel | 6/23/2009 | | I stayed at Blessing Retreat in order to take a break from a stressful situation, and this B&B was all I needed to bring myself some tranquility. I stayed in the yellow room, where fluffy pillows and a soft down comforter were available to keep me comfortable. I also enjoyed having my own personal bathroom and shower. The way the sun lit up my room brought me instant happiness. All these luxuries were just the start of my road to relaxation.
When I woke up, Linda was kind enough to ask me what I wanted for breakfast. After she suggested blueberry crapes, I knew it was going to be a great morning. The crapes were delicious!!! The best I've ever had!!!! Not only are Linda and Jay great hosts, but they are great cooks as well!!! During my stay, I was able to go horseback riding. The B&B is is only a football field away from a stable with beautiful horses to ride. It was wonderful to see the scenic hills of Prescott. I enjoyed it thoroughly! I also enjoyed the jacuzzi! It has an curved seat that you can lay on while adjusting the different massage settings. At night, you can relax in the jacuzzi, look up at the stars, and forget all your worries. It was amazing! I had a fabulous time at Blessing Retreat! Although I'm not a dog lover, Abby and Riley were peaceful, loving animals that even added to my comfortable stay. I must say I miss them already! Thanks for a wonderful vacation! |
