Karma Choeling Tibetan Buddhist Monastery
Kaukapakapa- 30 minutes North of Auckland, North Island, New Zealand
The public are welcome to enjoy the grounds of Karma Choeling from 6:15am – 7:30pm daily. Visit and sit in the temple, seek guidance from Lama Pasang, circumambulate the statue of Buddha, visit the stupas, or enjoy the trails.
Arrive at the welcoming house to enjoy a cup of tea and read a book from the library. From there you can visit and sit in the temple, seek guidance from Lama Pasang, circumambulate the statue of Buddha, visit the stupas, or enjoy the trails.
The accommodations are under renovation, but a cabin remains open for solo retreatants. The structure is simple and rustic, with a wonderful remoteness and view.
