Servant Song is an ecumenical, collaborative ministry that encourages and promotes spiritual growth and enrichment through prayer, silence, retreats, education, and spiritual direction in the Christian tradition.
We offer a variety of retreat programs, including guided group retreats; guided days of prayer/reflection; directed retreats according to the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius; preached or conference-type retreats; and private retreats. Trained directors offer individual private spiritual direction on a daily basis.
We also make our facility available for small groups who provide their own retreat director/leader, or we can tailor a retreat to the specific needs of your group.
Guests will find the homelike atmosphere of this "peaceful sanctuary in the midst of God's people" warm and inviting. From its living room type meeting room, small parlors, and dining room to its lovely chapel, Servant Song’s welcoming presence will draw guests into a gentle reverence toward God, self, others, and all creation. In addition to providing comfortable, quiet space for prayer, reflection, and meditation, the facility offers air-conditioned private guest rooms--each with its own half bath; private shower rooms are separate. We are "user friendly" for guests who are physically challenged. To nourish the body as well as the soul, meals and refreshments are provided. Lovely meditation gardens extend the inviting space of this holy ground.
Servant Song is deeply committed to promoting a real appreciation and respect for the different roads by which God leads us and to fostering a greater unity of all God’s people. We will make our facilities available for retreats, meetings, and workshops to outside groups whose main emphasis is directly related to spiritual growth and development and who maintain that same appreciation and respect. We welcome all denominations that seek to nourish and sustain the growth of their members.
