Inspired by the exotic tropical forest overlooking the Caribbean Sea, Samasati is a retreat that offers a total escape. The secluded site, high in the hills, offers the chance to relax, rejuvenate an d enjoy the beauty of luxuriant natural surroundings.
Samasati is truly a one-of-a–kind hotel in Costa Rica. Nestled in 250 acres of virgin forest overlooking the ocean, the retreat is based on high standards of sustainable living, and is the perfect (and romantic!) getaway for nature lovers, adventure fans, yoga practitioners and groups.
The local temperature is a stable 80 degrees ( 28 C) year around. The climate has often been called a "micro-climate", implying that the variable factors affecting this region are independent from the rest of the neighboring areas. This region shares very little in common with the rest of the country's weather cycles and prognostication, as the rainy season is often blessed with several weeks of dry, hot and sunny days, while weeks of unstoppable tropical rains can be experienced during the summer season. The best, driest and most stable months of the year are September/October and February through April.
Our facilities include ten private bungalows sleeping up to 4 people each, a standard guesthouse with shared bathrooms and a deluxe gues an exposed (open-air) restaurant, two yoga rooms, spacious jacuzzi and massage rooms, as well as a gift shop.
We can also help your group with eco-tourism experiences, adventure tours, and bird watching
