The mission of Peacewhisper is to share an environment of simplicity and unique natural beauty to enhance spiritual growth and well-being through contemplative prayer and practice.
~ Peacewhisper is located on 320 acres of old-growth pinon
and juniper near the Colorado-Utah border in the Four
Corners region.
~ Peacewhisper can accommodate up to 25 for day use and 10
overnight in the center and adjacent casita, with shared
bedrooms and bathrooms.
~ The custom geodesic dome is solar-powered, wood-heated
and has multiple uses ~ prayer space, chapel, meeting
room, or used as a dorm could sleep up to 12.
~ The D-shaped stone hermitage is built entirely of native
rock found on the mesa and its clifftop location is
designed for solitude in a campsite setting.
~ There are also many beautiful, established campsites that
can peacefully and safely accommodate up to 20.
~ Guests are provided with nutritious meals or may use the
kitchen to prepare their own food.
~ Stations of the Cross are laid out over a tree-lined
one-quarter mile walk.
~ A labyrinth, miles of hiking trails, private prayer
groves, and rooftop viewing and stargazing promise
retreatants a unique experience.
~ Come on your own or with a group; plan your own retreat
or allow us to tailor one for you; attend a spiritually
directed or theme specific retreat; or just come to rest
and be renewed in mind, body, and spirit.

Peacewhisper's buildings were constructed in 2006 entirely of stone, steel and concrete, which means long life and no paint. Both the main and rooftop decks use a recycled product. Peacewhisper has it's own water source, waste facility and is completely solar powered.
