The Mandala Center is a unique and peaceful retreat and conference center offering beautiful accommodations and engaging programs for promoting the well-being of body, mind and spirit. We welcome individuals for personal retreat, as well as facility rentals for groups or organizations planning their own special small group retreats. We also offer a year-round workshop schedule with dynamic and supportive teachers.
Spiritual Groups, Educational Organizations, Artists, yoga/meditation teachers and others will find here an inspiring setting allowing groups the opportunity to engage in reflection, teachings and deepening of their own inner work as well as the manifestation of professional goals.
The Mandala Center charges a general facility rental fee for groups, and a room and board fee per person. We can provide accomodations for 24 people in double occupancy with private baths in each room.
The Mandala Center staff will do all they can to ensure your group has a successful retreat experience. Our chefs are excellent and our facility offers a variety of beautiful rooms for group gatherings. In addition, there are ample areas here to hike and enjoy some of the special natural experiences the land offers such as Capulin Volcano and Sugarite Canyon.

The Center accommodates small groups to fulfill its mission to offer quality services, peaceful grounds and personalized attention to deepen and enrich your retreat experience.
Technology and AV: The Mandala Center does not have TV/cable. Our goal is to provide you with the time and space to rest and reconnect with your deepest self. We seek to limit distractions. We DO have a TV and DVD player for group and workshop facilitators who may need it for teaching purposes. We also have an overhead projector. We DO have a wireless internet connection in the Main Casa Mandala building for your use, which is available 24/7. The guest lodges do not have wireless service.

Travel Info: The Mandala Center is located in the stunningly beautiful and unique volcanic plains of Northeastern New Mexico centrally located between major cities such as Santa Fe NM, Amarillo TX, and Colorado Springs Colorado. We are 35 miles east of Raton NM, on highway 87/64 at mile marker 383. Most of our visitors arrive at Colorado Springs and take a sceneic drive through the mountain pass into Raton.
We are situated on the slopes of the Sierra Grande Mountain with sweeping and expansive views of the desert plains and the volcanic mountains that abound here. The rural area and quiet environment lends itself to times of transformation, rest and contemplation.
There are many nature areas to explore including the Capulin Volcano National Monument where you can hike down into the volcano itself, and Sugarite Canyon complete with beautiful mountain lakes and abounding wildlife.
