We are a small, contemplative Roman Catholic Benedictine monastery in rural upstate New York, near Binghamton. Our guest house has 1 double room, and 5 single rooms. The bathrooms are shared: two upstairs and one downstairs. Each floor has a shared living room, and there is a shared kitchen on the ground floor. We also have a one-room guest cabin. WiFi is available throughout the guest facilities. We welcome individuals and small groups of all faiths or no faith, for personal and group retreats. Guests are welcome to join us for prayers and daily mass. One sister offers spiritual direction, and our on-site chaplain is also available to meet with guests.
Average Cost: $
The suggested donation is $50/person/night, including food. Those who are financially challenged may pay less, in exchange for work. We often provide reductions for groups, on the condition that they take care of all their own food.
Guests who work in exchange for a reduced rate often help us with gardening, grounds maintenance and the library.
