Bend of Ivy Lodge exists to provide a peaceful and inspiring place for retreats (personal growth, yoga, meditation, and business/corporate groups are welcome), as well as workshops, church retreats, and special events (family reunions, weddings).
Bend of Ivy Lodge is a beautiful retreat and conference center 20 minutes north of Asheville, North Carolina, nestled on 63 acres of land that slope gently down to the Ivy River. The completely renovated lodge building is available to groups seeking a special place to hold a workshop, retreat, meeting, family reunion or special event. If you are an individual seeking a retreat or workshop experience go to our events page to see some selected public gatherings.
This unique venue, cradled in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina, is a renovated tobacco barn. The main hall looks out over the valley with a 22 foot high grand window, and will hold 25 people for meetings or gatherings. The retreat center Lodge is finished in pine, with a balcony railing crafted from the old tobacco poles, and art from around the world. Ten bedrooms, five shared bathrooms, and a fully equipped kitchen accommodate 20 for overnight groups. Outside is a large covered porch looking out over a pond, a waterfall, and gardens. Bend of Ivy Lodge has hiking trails, and enough space for outdoor events or weddings.
