Whispering Winds Retreat Haven is a spiritual retreat house, a place to be still and be renewed by the Spirit of God. The house itself is a remodeled farmhouse located on the edge of Cambridge, Wisconsin, 30 minutes east of Madison, 2 hours northwest of Chicago. It is surrounded by 3 acres of lawn and gardens - a quiet, peaceful setting. The house has 4 private guest rooms, each with a private bath, and several comfortable meeting rooms.
Whispering Winds welcomes individuals and small groups for daytime and overnight retreats of any duration, from a couple hours of quiet meditation at the end of a busy day, to a month or more of time away, perhaps a sabbatical.
Whispering Winds is a place where individuals and small groups can go to have some quiet time and be free of the distractions at home or work.
Spiritual Direction is available by appointment.
Whispering Winds provides the quiet, peaceful place - an environment conducive to prayer and reflection. All guests are welcome to use the common areas of the house and grounds: the Prayer Room, Living Room, Dining Room, Sun Room, Gazebo, and three acres of lawn and gardens.

The directors of Whispering Winds share the dream of providing a space where individuals can spend some quiet time renewing their friendship with God.

B&B-style rooms with private baths range in price from $99 to $149 per night. A generous continental breakfast is available to guests throughout the morning. For other meals, guests are welcome to bring their own food, which can be kept in the small refrigerator in the dining room. A microwave, toaster, and coffeemaker are available for guest use in the dining room. A variety of restaurants are available nearby.

Housing: The house is a large, remodeled farmhouse with four large guest rooms, all with private baths. Each room is furnished with a queen bed, one or more comfortable chairs, and a desk. The Nightingale Suite includes a bedroom, separate sitting room with a gas fireplace, and a private screen porch. Other rooms in the house available for guest use include large living room with piano, sun room with a small library, and dining room. Outside is a gazebo and 3 acres of lawn and gardens.
