The White Eagle Village is a Conference, Retreat Center and Inn located four miles west of Crestone, Colorado and is nestled at the base of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. We are next door to the Challenger Golf Club. The Great Sand Dunes National Park, several Hot Springs, rafting on the Arkansas River, and wilderness hiking trails are all located within easy driving distance. There are many spiritual, educational and environmental centers including the Shumei International Institute, Carmelite Monastery, The Tibetan Stupa, Haidakhandi Universal Ashram, Sri Aurobindo Learning Center and more. All this at the foot of four 14,000+ peaks. Getting here - The closest airports are Colorado Springs (about 3 hrs), Denver (4hrs), and Albuquerque (5 hrs) There is a commercial airline, Great Lakes Aviation, that flies between Denver and Alamosa.
