Retreat Type
Directed: These retreats have a leader, teacher or guide. They differ from an Event because they occur at a time specified by the participant, not by the leader.
Individual: These retreats are entirely self directed. See About Retreats for more information on what to do on a retreat.

Focus/ Activities
Select as many as you like. Selecting the Focus Header (such as "Meditation") will return listings that include ANY of the sub-categories (such as "Loving Kindness").

Faith
If you desire to attend a retreat with a specific faith, select that faith. If faith is not of primary concern, select "Open to All". If you prefer a retreat that does not affiliate with any faith, select "Non-Faith Based".

Environment
Select one or more of the environments you would like to experience on your retreat.

Accommodations

Room Type
B&B indicates that the building is set up similar to a Bed and Breakfast. Cottage/ Cabin indicates a stand alone building.
Dorm indicates a room with many beds, often with unknown roommates.
Hotel indicates a private room along a corridor with other rooms.
Tent indicates tent camping.

Bath Type
Private indicates a full bath inside your room. Shared indicates all or most of the bath facilities are outside your room and are shared with others.

Number of People
Please indicate the maximum number of people to occupy your room. This is most helpful if traveling with in a group.

Coed
Check this box if you would like rooms that allow members of the opposite sex in the same room. If this box is not checked for an accommodations listing, it indicates that the rooms are for single sexes only.

Children
Check this box if you will be retreating with children.

Donation
Check this box if you would like to find accommodations that request a donation, but do not have a specified cost.

Work Exchange
Check this box if you would like to find accommodations that will accept work in exchange for full or partial payment.

Cost

Retreat Accommodations and Facilities: Price per person is defined as the average price per person including food and average tuition if required per day

Events: Price per person is the combination of tuition, lodging, meals, ground transportation (ie everything but airfare) per night of accommodation

Special Needs
Select one or more of your needs. Please contact the retreat directly concerning their ability to meet your specific needs.

Gay Friendly
Check the box if you would like to find only retreats that support diversity: lesbian, gay, transgender, and all shades in between.

Environmentally Sustainable
Check the box if you would like to find only retreats that are taking measures to sustain the environment.

Language
Indicate the language(s) spoken at the retreat.
