on 2/12/2008 by Mary C	I personally found this retreat center via a web search, which I feel was directed by God and His desire for me to find the right place for what He wanted for me. The retreat is set in a beautiful area and provided a rest for my soul. The directors there have a very unique way of speaking into one's life and finding the areas that need to be addressed. The intensity of sessions is totally up to the Holy Spirit and His leading and also the willingness of one to face their own demons. This type of ministry may not be for everyone but I would highly recommend it to anyone who desires the joy of the Lord and the ability to walk closely with Him the rest of their days.
on 2/3/2008 by C. Bond	When I attended this retreat home I was received well and treated to warm hospitality and good food. The rooms were beautifully decorated and I was treated like family. However, I found the spiritual counseling quite personal and pretty intense. The directors, Joanne and Jacques seemed to want access to all issues. In hindsight, I wish that I had met them in advance to negotiate the terms of sessions and establish some clear boundaries, before committing. The farm is beautiful and I don't know if the directors would be open to a more private, relaxing form of retreat, but that would most certainly be beneficial for rest and prayer.
