This long weekend retreat is for yoga practitioners with some experience, who are interested in practicing together in a beautiful setting. We had our first retreat at Taos this past Thanksgiving and we received such wonderful feedback that we had to come back...this time in the beautiful month of September...a taste of summer...a taste of fall...the sheer beauty of the high plateau surrounded by the striking Sangre de Cristo Mountains...join us for a magical long weekend at the Mabel Dodge Luhan House in Taos, New Mexico.
VENUE The Mabel Dodge Luhan House has been a gathering place for artists and thinkers to relax and recover their energy since the 1920s when New York art patroness Mabel Dodge and Taos Pueblo Indian Antonio Luhan built the rambling hacienda “Los Gallos” at the base of Sacred Mountain. Today, the house is still secluded at the end of a quiet road not far from the center of town, within walking distance to shops, restaurants and spas, national forests are nearby. Experience yoga in a truly extraordinary setting, the Mable Dodge Luhan House is a destination in and of itself yet Taos is just a few minute walk. For further information on the Mabel Dodge Luhan House, see their website at www.mabeldodgeluhan.com.
SCHEDULE The first class will begin late Wednesday afternoon, and the retreat will end after the morning class on Sunday. There will be two home-cooked meals a day (breakfast and dinner).
