Living From Your Soul Retreat
October 26-28, 2007 : Durango CO
How crazy is your life? How many people are
clammering for your attention each moment,
day after day, year after year? When there
are many important people who matter to you
and a bunch more who really don't, all
seeking your attention on a constant basis,
it's difficult to actually recognize the
sound of your own voice when it calls.
You can begin to feel as if you've
disappeared, until the longing to know your
own Soul demands another choice.
True Life Coaching and Retreats offers a
beautiful, nurturing place to begin to listen
again. The upcoming Living from Your Soul
Retreat is designed to take you into your
own depths to where your inner secrets lie.
This weekend offers you diverse Soulful
Practices to once again come home to your
Authentic and Essential Self. Is it time to
prioritize you for a change?
In the safety and power of this Woman's
Retreat, you will have the opportunity to
create a toolbox that's makes Living from
Your Soul a daily practice. Leave your
head behind - we spend too much time there
anyway - and dive into your Heart! Find your
own unique voice through Soul Collage, dance,
meditation, and guided time in the ancient
Anasazi Canyons of southwestern Colorado.
Sourced by feminine wisdom and group synergy,
you will take an underworld journey using a
traditional Native American Kiva. Here is
the chance to be with your Shadow and use
it's mystery in service of your True Life.
Step into the Circle and be a co-creator of
Sacred Ceremony, one that honors your passion
and creativity.
Here's what one woman said about this
Retreat:
"The Living from Your Soul Retreat for me
was the ultimate launching pad for a personal
soul journey. My mind was opened to an array
of unique paths in which to explore and
expand awareness of my place in this world.
The Retreat Center was a nurturing and still
place to renew and seek. Victoria graciously
created a truly sacred space that allowed
each woman to search from wherever she was
and set herself free with complete
protection. The weekend was an invaluable
experience and I recommend it to any woman
who wants to come home to herself!"

Mohini is two lovely people who will make you

The Fasting Handbook: Dining from an Empty
Bowl
by Jeremy Safron
Celestial Arts, Berkeley, CA, 2005. $11.95
Fasting brings us closer to ourselves and
offers us the opportunity to press the reset
button on our body and life. By fasting, we
can create new beginnings."
Toxins enter our bodies every day through the
air we breathe, the food we eat, and even the
thoughts we think. While the body is able to
process toxins, over time they build up and
wreak havoc in the body. When we choose to
live and eat simply, we allow the body to
focus its work on cleaning out the old
debris, rejuvenating and functioning
optimally. Jeremy Safron, a living foods
health practitioner and advisor to raw food
restaurants around the country, offers this
appropriately small book, absent of fluff but
full of vital fasting information and
suggestions to meet your lifestyle and
desires. With options of fasting from speech,
media, people, sleep, sex, sweets, or your
favorite toxin, what is left to consume?
Depending on your physical needs, you can
choose among fasting on air (not recommended
for most people), water, juices, sprouts,
master cleaner (a special lemonade), and
more. To properly prepare you for your
experience Safron reviews the basics of the
body's organs and how to start and end a fast
properly. He includes schedules for several
fasting programs, and emphasizes the need to
gather all materials prior to the fast.
Standing firmly in the world of raw vegan
foods, you won't find any mention of teas or
brown rice. Instead coconut water (almost
identical to human blood plasma), wheat grass
and juices are emphasized, along with love,
"the greatest food there is and the most
important ingredient in any meal." When even
your sweat smells fragrant, you will be
thankful for Safron's advice.
