The Great Outdoors

Tatamagouche Centre sits on 15 acres of rolling lawns, flower gardens, and huge oak trees just west of the Village of Tatamagouche, on Nova Scotia’s North Shore. We are surrounded by parks, water and trails: Nelson Park to our North, the Butter Trail part of the Trans Canada Trail along the edge of Tatamagouche Bay to our East, and the Waugh and French Rivers to our South. The local village and surrounding area offers all the amenities your group may need. The Cobequid Hills are a fifteen minute drive away, complete with a variety of new hiking trails.

Outdoor activities provide a welcome break from indoor meetings. Depending on the season, your team can enjoy hikes along the Trans Canada Trail, canoeing on the river, snowshoeing through the local winter wonderland, a reflective stroll through the outdoor labyrinth, or simply a leisurely stroll around the property, play ball games on the lawn, have a bonfire at night … there are ample opportunities!
