Travel Info: We are located in St. Petersburg, Florida close to several beaches. We are 2 miles from Treasure Island, 3 miles from St. Pete Beach, 5 miles from Madeira Beach, and 13 miles from Indian Rocks Beach. Clearwater is just 16 miles, Tampa is 27, Bradenton is 28, and Sarasota is 39 miles from us. Tampa Airport – TPA – is 24 miles away and St. Pete/Clearwater Airport – PIE – is 13 miles. Shuttle from either airport is available for $35 and is arranged before arrival.
Once here, transportation around town is available through the local bus system or trolley.

Our room was a roomy suite with a comfortable bed and a lot of space. The staff is friendly and well-informed. Breakfasts are a feature, made-to-order omelets, cereals, fruits, juice, and coffee are served, and the wait staff is pleasant and conversations. Over the years celebrities like Marylin Monroe, Babe Ruth, and some Kennedy's have stayed here, This was our first trip to St. Pete, and the Crystal Bay would draw us back to the next time we stay in the city.

Great Place to stay
Just finished a five-day stay. The place is extremely clean. Really nice friendly staff. Great value especially factoring their included breakfast. Impeccably restored older structure. Convenient easy parking right in front. Nice safe neighborhood. Will definitely be returning. Had a nice time.

Wonderful taste of Florida history
The Crystal Bay Historic Hotel provided an updated experiential taste of Florida stays almost 100 years ago. The hotel has been updated with necessary modern amenities while maintaining the construction features from its original design. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The cooked to order breakfast was delicious. I highly recommend your stay here for a relaxing and enjoyable experience. Close to Treasure Island and St Petersburg beaches, museums, etc.

Great old place
This place dates back to 1915. Has the old world charm but has modern conveniences. The egg breakfasts are made fresh and very good. The bed was comfy and the room was quiet. The room we were in was a bit small but it had a king-size bed. This place is pet-friendly and the staff was very nice. Definitely will stay there again

Breakfast, which is included, is cooked to order and you make your selections from a menu featuring homemade corned beef hash and omelets made with fresh herbs from their garden. In addition, there is a buffet with homemade quiche and baked goods. The breakfast staff are the hardest working girls on the planet, and so very concerned with your well being. Staying anywhere else while in St. Petersburg is a huge mistake.
