We are a small Catholic Benedictine Monastery in rural New York, in the foothills of the Catskills. We offer individual and small group retreats in a quiet, peaceful natural setting.
We are a small, Catholic Benedictine monastery in rural New York. We welcome guests of all faiths or no faith for individual or small group retreats, as well as people simply seeking peace, quiet and respite from their busy lives. We also host families visiting relatives in the area. Our guest house has a full kitchen, large living room and library, six bedrooms, two shared bathrooms on the second floor and a restroom off the kitchen. The upstairs living room has a couch that opens up into a double bed, providing a seventh bedroom. We also have two one-room cabins with bathroom and kitchen facilities. Free WiFi is available in all the guest spaces. Guests are welcome to join us for our monastic prayers - or not - as they prefer. A Sister is available for spiritual direction. We provide staples such as coffee, tea, sugar, dry cereal, etc., but otherwise we ask that guests bring and prepare their own food. The suggested donation is $60/person/night. We require that all guests be vaccinated. There is a $5/day surcharge for each pet. For travelers or long-term guests: we can do your persnal laundry for $10/load.

We are 15 miles east of Binghamton, NY, a 3.5 hour drive from NYC, a 1.5 hour drive from Scranton, PA, and a 10 minute drive from the PA border. Transportation is available by bus from NYC. The nearest airports are Binghamton, Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, Elmira, Albany and Syracuse. We may not be able to provide transportation to and from the airports.
