TRINITY CENTER
On the Southern Outer Banks of North Carolina and away from busy city life, Trinity Center guests enjoy a natural barrier island setting of maritime forest, rolling dunes, undeveloped oceanfront, and sound-side waterways. Our professional staff will customize your meeting, lodging and dining needs for 12 persons at our retreat house, 90 nestled in rooms, or 100 youth in our dorms. Walk the beach; watch the sunset; and perhaps…catch a glimpse of our elusive dolphins.
PELICAN HOUSE AT TRINITY CENTER
Designed as a silent retreat facility, the Pelican House is a unique gift of the Diocese of East Carolina at Trinity Center. Pelican House is an apt name for the beautiful residential building, as flocks of these magnificent birds fly past the house skimming the ocean waters. The pelican is also an ancient Christian symbol for Christ.
Throughout the year Trinity Center sponsors a variety of Programs to Engage the Spirit at Pelican House, including guided spiritual retreats, silent retreats, and opportunities for quiet personal time. In addition, small groups of up to 12 persons may reserve the Pelican House for private retreats that are meditative or spiritual in nature. Please contact our reservations staff for more information about small group retreats.

Mission/Lineage: Trinity Center welcomes all people to the spiritual home of Episcopalians of East Carolina, where we share God's gifts of community and hospitality in a natural coastal environment. Our doors first opened in 1986. The maritime paths, benches by the lagoon and porch rockers all invite guests to relax and enjoy the stillness. Trinity Center's award winning design offers differing groups simultaneous use of the facility while not intruding on each other.
